For agencies and consultants

Pitch in their language, see what landed.

Send your pitch as a web deck in your client's language, with every translation approved by you. Then see which ideas their team spent time on, and answer questions idea by idea.

The cover of Studio Nine's pitch, Ideas for Atlas Freight. A language switch moves between English and Turkish, and the cover follows: Atlas Freight için fikirler. Below, three readers at Atlas Freight: Reader 3 in London reads in English, Reader 2 in Istanbul in Turkish, and Lotte de Vries in Amsterdam, verified, in English.

The job

Pitch in PDFs, then wait to hear.

The pitch leaves as a heavy file, with a translated copy nobody had time to check. Then the client's team reads it somewhere, in some order, and you hear back about one idea, if any.

A pitch folder without Decktrace: four PDF files, Atlas_Pitch_v6_FINAL sent to three people, a Turkish copy whose translation was not checked, a second Turkish file named fixed, and a second final that was never sent. One reply so far, from three readers.

The pitch

A pitch that looks considered.

Start from the agency proposal template, pick a theme and shape the pages: add, reorder or remove them, and change a page's layout. Saving a client's logo, colours and fonts as a reusable brand is coming soon.

  • Start from the agency proposal template
  • A theme for the deck, a layout for each page
  • Save, reopen and undo as you go
One theme, with its four colours and two typefaces, applied to all seven pages of the Atlas Freight pitch. Four of the pages are shown: the cover, What we heard, Idea 1 The night shift, and the timeline.

Languages

The same pitch in English and Turkish.

10 languages, including English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German and Arabic. Decktrace drafts the translation from your source pages and marks it until you approve it. When a source page changes, its approved translation is marked out of date. Readers can switch language on the same link.

Page 4 of the pitch, Idea 2, side by side in two languages. English is the source, version 3: Follow one parcel from door to door. Turkish, approved by you on Tuesday: Bir paketi kapıdan kapıya takip edin. Below, a note that page 6, the timeline, changed in English, so its Turkish page is marked out of date.

What landed

See which ideas held their team.

Active time and scroll depth on each page add up per idea and per reader, in one report. You know which idea to lead with in the room, before you get there.

  • Time per idea, split by reader
  • Readers in every language in one report
  • Interaction heatmaps
Time the Atlas Freight team spent on each idea, ranked. Idea 2, Follow one parcel: 6 minutes 40 seconds in total, 3:05 from Lotte de Vries reading in English, 2:15 from Reader 2 reading in Turkish and 1:20 from Reader 3 reading in English. Idea 1, The night shift: 3:10. Idea 3, Open depots: 1:05.

Questions

Questions on the page they are about.

Readers ask privately on the page they are reading, so every question arrives with its idea. You get an email for each new question and reply in context, and the thread keeps the page, version and language.

  • Kept with its page, version and language
  • Private between each reader and you
  • Your answers can shape the next version
Idea 2, Follow one parcel, with a badge showing two questions on the page. Question 1, from Lotte de Vries, verified, who read in English on Tuesday: Could the first episode start at our Rotterdam depot? Your reply: Yes. Rotterdam opens the series, and the route grows from there. Question 2, from Reader 3 in London, reading in English today: What would filming need from our drivers? It is waiting for your reply.

Questions

Agencies, answered.

Not as a saved brand yet. Saving a client's logo, colours and fonts as a reusable brand is coming soon. At launch you pick a theme for the deck, change the layout of each page and add images such as a logo.

You do. Decktrace drafts the translation and marks the draft until you approve it. Decktrace offers 10 languages, including English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German and Arabic. When a source page changes, its approved translation is marked out of date. Readers can switch language on the same link, and anything not yet translated shows in the original language.

No. Questions are private between the reader who asks and you. Each thread keeps the page, the version and the language it was asked in, and a reader who verifies their email gets an email with your reply. You get an email for every new question.

How teams share and edit decks together is not settled yet. We will publish the details before launch.
